If you haven’t read Sarah-Kate Lynch, you need to. She is fantastic. She has written one of my favorite books Blessed are the Cheesemakers and I recently checked this one out of the library. It was wonderful.

I still love her Cheesemakers more, but this was a lovely read. Made me want to eat local honey to see if I could taste what Ms. Lynch tasted.

My newest crochet project

I love to crochet.

I got started making blankets for a charity group called Project Linus about 13+ years ago, and haven’t stopped since.

I’ve recently gotten into a type of crochet where you can actually work an image into the blanket. It’s called by several names: tapestry crochet, picture crochet, picture afghans.

Well whatever you call it, I love making them! Here’s what I’m currently working on…  This one is for a friend.

I can’t wait to see it when it’s done!

Cheers!

Introduction

Hello World!

My name is Natalie and I have a variety of interests that I am passionate about enough to blog weekly about. Hopefully, I keep it interesting enough for others to be inspired to check out my rambling. Here’s a bit about me:

I am currently a stay-at-home mama to two little minions – a gorgeous daughter P (age 2.5 years) and a beautiful son B (age 9.5 months). They will probably feature a lot in my dealings as they are my world. I’m happily married to a loving husband, Jason, who helps keep everything running smoothly.

I read a lot. I hope by telling you what I’m reading inspires you to pick up a book and read, or I can recommend to you a new favorite.

I crochet a lot. I love making pictures within a blanket (as I mostly focus on blankets) and I’ll show you where I get my inspiration from.

I watch movies a lot. Usually this happens when a child is sleeping on me and I’m crocheting.

I’m starting to get into the wonderful world of essential oils – the doTERRA line, personally. I want to share my experiences with you and maybe convince you to try them out yourself in your life

I wish to share whatever thing I’m passionate about with you, the world.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Cheers!
